Bumper To Bumper

What's great about Smittybilt bumpers is their ease of installation.  Even a kid can do it, literally:
The Smittybilt bumper was designed with features that make it an appropriate project for D.I.Y. installation.

The bumper literally just slides on a plate.  It weighs over seventy pounds so you would need a partner to help you lift the bumper up and slide it on.  The stock bumper that comes with Jeep Wranglers has six places to attach bolts. The Smittybilt bumper has four places to attach bolts and it comes with two additional spaces.  If you've got welding skills, you can strip the paint off of the spaces and weld them to the frame and then bolt the Smittybilt bumper on in two extra places.  But even with four bolt attachments, the Smittybilt bumper is on secure.
The bumper offers four light tabs, two upper and two lower.  The bumper is designed to shield the light bulbs that sit on the lower tabs.  It also has an arch grill guard.  You don't have to worry about the grill guard falling off or ruining your grill if your Jeep gets into an accident because the bumper has a triangular plate supporting the grill guard all the way down to the base plate of the entire bumper.
There is a tube running along with the base plate and on that tube there are two tabs to attach D rings.
Forget the rumors you've heard, it is not necessary to drop the gas tank in order to get the Smittybilt rear bumper on your Jeep.  It is possible to get at the bumper bolts from underneath the Jeep.
What you need to do is get one of those socket adapters with a Ujoint in it and two or three socket extensions.  Go under the Jeep, get the socket on the nut.  Then have a partner stand aside with a ratchet and breaker bar.  Believe me, you'll get those bolts to snap right off.
No Smittybilt bumper is complete without a Smittybilt winch, right?  What's cool about Smittybilt winches is that no matter what Smittybilt bumper you buy, it is possible to rearrange the solenoid box of your Smittybilt winch to wherever is most convenient for your style of Smittybilt bumper.  Just watch RudeDogii do it on Youtube.
